Based in the sociology department, I have taught a number of courses in the areas of law and deviance. I also teach the required introduction to sociology course and the classical sociological theory course.
As part of the inaugural faculty of the university's honors college, I created new courses and supervised students participating in the impact experience capstone project.
Over the years, I taught a number of courses to traditional and non-traditional students outside of official degree programs to encourage lifelong and self-guided learning.
To keep pace with changing student expectations and learning styles, I have continually innovated in the classroom with hybrid and interdisciplinary teaching.
